Shipping Services & Shipping Rates

All orders are shipped via United States Postal Service (USPS) Media Mail or Flat Rate Priority Mail. We find media mail a very effective and efficient way to mail orders to you.

U.S. Shipping Rates for USPS Media Mail

  • Up to $25.00 = $5.00
  • $25.01–$49.99 = 20% of order
  • $50–$124.99 = 18% of order
  • Free USPS Media Mail shipping on US orders $100.00 and up!

U.S. Shipping Rates for USPS Priority Mail

  • Up to $25 = $15.00
  • $25.01–$50.00 = $20.00
  • $50.01 or More = 30% of order

How can I place my order?

Order on Website: Shop anytime in Second Harvest Curriculum's online store. Browse our catalog and enjoy the shopping experience in the comfort of your own home.

Order by Phone: To place an order please call, (308) 350-4764. Our phone hours are 11:00 A.M. to 3:00 P.M. CST, Monday through Friday. For special requests or questions, ordering by phone is your best option.

International and Canadian Orders: At this time we are not shipping internationally or to Canada.

Email Confirmations: PLEASE add our email address shc@usedhomeschoolbooks.com to your safe or approved senders list (white list) as we will be sending you a copy of your sales receipt, shipping information and tracking number. Check your junk or spam folder. We want to make sure that we are able to communicate with you.

How do I return books I do not want?

We have a 30-day return policy. This means if you return your books to us within 30 days of the date marked on your invoice, you receive the full amount of the book cost if books are returned to us in the same condition as when mailed to you. Customer pays for return shipping. If there is an error on our end we will pay for return shipping. After 30 days returns will be handled as trade-in books. (We pay you 40% of what we mark the books)

Subject sets are returnable only as a set.

Clearance books and Overstock books are non-returnable.

We are open for phone calls at (308) 350-4764 between 11 AM–3 PM CST, Monday through Thursday. You may also email us at shc@usedhomeschoolbooks.com. Our online catalog is open 24 hours a day so you can shop anytime you want!

Store walk-in business hours are Mondays, 11 AM–2PM, and Tuesdays through Thursdays by appointment only, and closed on Fridays.
